iExel Education Trust Celebrates Award-Winning Feversham Teacher

iExel Education Trust is delighted to celebrate the success of Nawal Majid, a science teacher at Feversham Girls’ Academy, who has been named Secondary School Teacher of the Year at the T&A Bradford & District Education Awards 2026.

The award recognises exceptional teachers who make a lasting difference to young people across the Bradford district, and Nawal was praised for her dedication, passion and the positive impact she has on her students every day.

Known for her engaging lessons, high expectations and supportive approach, Nawal has inspired countless students to grow in confidence and develop a love for science. Colleagues and students alike describe her as someone who goes above and beyond to ensure every young person feels encouraged to succeed.

Speaking about the award, Nawal said:

“I am incredibly honoured and grateful to be named Teacher of the Year 2026. Teaching has always been more than a profession to me — it’s a privilege to support students as they grow in confidence, curiosity and character.
